This collection is so iconic to me personally because of the origin story to Maxim's. The interior of the original one in Paris (still in tact, i had champagne there this summer) was so stunning, that it attracted the discerning eyes of high-end courtesans. They were the niche micro internet celebrities of the the Belle Epoque. So after they brought their special friends here enough,  it became historically significant. The one here is currently being sold by Demolition Depot - they're in Harlem and Connecticut rescuing beautiful old shit.

They said they'll sell it whole only, not in parts.... but I want that light up ceiling so badly. It will probably be purchased by a museum one day, or maybe Demolition Depot will become a museum.
