A set of antique crystal beaded baccarat curtains originally owned by Mrs. William Vanderbilt for the master bedroom in the 5th floor NYC mansion. Later acquired by Edward Wormley, Dunbar designer, for an installation in his NYC showroom. They were pictured in many Dunbar catalogs as a backdrop for furniture design.

Condition: good, some strands are smaller and larger.





A set of antique crystal beaded baccarat curtains  originally owned by Mrs. William Vanderbilt for  the master bedroom in the 5th Avenue NYC mansion. Later acquired by Edward Wormley, renowned Dunbar  designer, for an installation in his NYC showroom.  They were pictured in many Dunbar catalogs as a  back drop for furniture design. Twenty-three strands in total. Approximately 75" in length,  each.



Its possible that this is the same set of bespoke Baccarat rock crystal beads, re-listed 3 years later with the same provenance at a nearby auctionhouse after it fell apart... it did only sell for only half what it did first time. Now that's what I call storytelling

Its likely that there are more of these curtains that just haven't gone fully public yet. I don't yearn for these so much, but I do intend to recreate this for my next place (when I finally get less nomadic) with crystals that give me good vibrations.
